Optical Coherence Technology (OCT) uses light waves to take cross-section pictures of your retina. With OCT, you can see each of the retina’s distinctive layers. This allows you to map and measure their thickness which will assist in diagnosis and provide treatment guidance for retinal diseases such as, but not limited to; glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, and AMD. These measurements help with diagnosis.
